A journey in 12 episodes to understand the economy around us, with simple answers and highly relevant topics
The Financial Education Lab (FEL) of Bocconi University, in collaboration with the publisher Egea, has recently launched “Finanza in ascolto”, an innovative podcast dedicated to financial education. The initiative is part of Spoke 4 of the MUSA project and represents a significant opportunity to bring the public closer to economic and financial topics.
The podcast, consisting of 12 episodes of 12 minutes each, is available starting November 18 with the first two episodes. Each episode addresses a concrete and relevant question for everyday life: Why is the cost of living always rising? How does a bank work? Is it better to invest or save money? Topics covered include inflation, interest rates, cryptocurrencies, fintech, and financial crises. The episodes feature expert professors from Bocconi University, who provide clear and straightforward explanations with the aim of making the complex world of economics more accessible and understandable. Through this podcast, FEL aims to provide practical tools to improve financial literacy, answering common questions that often go unanswered.
On November 20 at 5 PM, Bocconi University will host the launch event for the FEL Lab platform, designed for schools and the community. During the event, the podcast and its educational role will also be discussed. The event will be streamed on the university’s website and the Corriere della Sera website, a frequent partner in Bocconi’s initiatives. “Finanza in ascolto” is available on various platforms, including Spotify, Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts, as well as on the Financial Education Lab and MUSA project websites.
