Two events to explore the challenges of sustainability and introduce new training opportunities where UNIMI and Human Hall merge academia and industry.
On January 15, the University of Milan will host two significant events organized by Human Hall, emphasizing its commitment to developing interdisciplinary skills for integrated sustainability: The Role of Agroecology in the Global Health SphereandBusinesses and Universities for Training: Reporting on Sustainability.
The day will be divided into two main sessions, both taking place at Aula Malliani, Via Festa del Perdono 7, Milan. These events offer a unique opportunity to delve into key topics in the contemporary sustainability debate and foster greater synergy between academia and the corporate world. Moreover, they mark a pivotal step in launching a new course promoted by the Centro Interuniversitario di Ricerca in Sostenibilità Ambientale (CIRSIA), developed as part of the MUSA project. This course aims to train sustainability experts by combining theoretical knowledge with practical skills, addressing the needs of the labor market and local communities.
The Role of Agroecology in the Global Health Sphere
The first session, scheduled from 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM, will explore the role of agroecology from various perspectives, including agricultural microbiology, soil health, ecosystem health, and its impact on human health. Contributions from Italian and European academic and research institutions will be presented. Organized in collaboration with La Statale, the event is endorsed by the Italian Agroecology Association (AIDA) and the Georgofili Academy.
