A meeting between companies, researchers, and institutions to promote a more sustainable future through innovation and collaboration, exploring sustainable and circular solutions that are transforming the fashion and design industry.

On March 10, 2025, the Milano Luiss Hub will host “Sustainable, Circular Fashion & Design – How to Generate Value for the Territory” an event organized by BioEcoGeo dedicated to sustainable and circular fashion and design. The goal is to create a dynamic meeting point between companies, researchers, civil society, public administrations, and policymakers to promote innovative and sustainable solutions.

The initiative, which is under the patronage of the Municipality of Milan and in collaboration with the Universities of Bicocca, Politecnico di Milano, Statale, and Bocconi as knowledge partners, in addition to the support of the MUSA Project, aims to strengthen the link between innovation, sustainability, and the territory. The day will be full of presentations and discussions on crucial topics such as the role of administrations in the sector, sustainable female entrepreneurship with a focus on circularity and recycling, sustainable business management, support from incubators and accelerators for startups and SMEs, responsible technological innovation, and networking opportunities among companies in the supply chain.

A distinctive element of the event will be the integration of advanced technological solutions and circular economy models. The use of the Digital Passport and Blockchain will improve the traceability and transparency of the supply chain, combating counterfeiting and strengthening the competitiveness of local businesses. These tools, along with sustainable design models and the extension of product lifecycles, represent concrete responses to current environmental and social challenges.

The initiative will be structured through the presentation of content and case studies on the circular economy and sustainability, as well as through professional networking and matchmaking sessions, with the aim of fostering collaborations between the main actors in the Lombardy region and innovative startups. The event will offer key players in the fashion, luxury, and design sectors, as well as startups with sustainable and circular solutions, the opportunity to discuss the specific needs of the sector. Representatives from the city administration and Milanese universities that are partners of MUSA will also be present.
