An open discussion among industry experts on how to break down gender barriers in the tech world and support female entrepreneurship through inclusive tools, networks, and policies.
The series of meetings dedicated to innovation and entrepreneurship promoted by MUSA continues with the fourth Entrepreneurs’ Café event, scheduled for May 21st from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the FrancoAngeli Bicocca Academy (with the option to participate online).
The title of the meeting is a question that opens up urgent and necessary reflections: Technological Innovation and Startups: What Tools to Support Female Talent? The tech and startup worlds represent two of the main drivers of economic and social transformation today. However, for women who choose to embark on an entrepreneurial path in these sectors, the challenges are often more complex. Access to funding, presence in strategic professional networks, and cultural gender barriers are obstacles that require concrete answers.
How can we build a truly inclusive and competitive ecosystem for female-led startups? What tools and opportunities are already active to support female entrepreneurs in tech and digital?
These questions will be addressed by three protagonists of change, who will bring visions, experiences, and best practices to the table:
- Stefania Quaini, President of the Scientific Committee of Angels for Women (A4W)
- Chiara Brughera, Managing Director of SheTech
- Elisa Moretti, CEO & Co-founder of Yore
The meeting is designed for a heterogeneous and dynamic audience: researchers, doctoral students, university spin-offs, students interested in innovation, technology transfer professionals, and anyone who wants to approach or support female entrepreneurship.
At the end of the event, there will be space for a networking coffee to continue the discussion informally and create connections between participants and speakers.
Participation is free, upon registration.
