Deadline set for September 11, 2025: the Lombardy Region supports the best ideas for the ecological transition

You have until Thursday, September 11, 2025, to apply for the second edition of the “Lombardy Green Chemistry for a Sustainable Future” competition, promoted by the Lombardy Region and Federated Innovation @MIND as part of Startup Days 2025.

The call is open to startups, innovative SMEs incorporated for no more than five years, and university spin-offs engaged in developing technologies and solutions in the field of sustainable chemistry.

The Competition Stages The competition has two distinct phases:

  • A first phase for chemical companies and user sectors to express their interest and help define the main technological challenges.
  • A call for startups, aimed at emerging companies that will have the opportunity to propose innovative solutions in line with the identified needs.

Prizes and Opportunities There are six prizes of 25,000 euros each up for grabs, for a total of 150,000 euros provided by the Lombardy Region. The awards will go to the most innovative projects that can have a concrete impact on the ecological transition of the chemical sector.
