From confronting investors to growth strategies, a new Entrepreneurs' Café meeting will be held on September 16 in Milan, featuring voices from the world of venture capital and innovation.
A dialogue with a potential investor is a crucial step for any startup. It can pave the way for growth or reveal the weaknesses of a business project. How can you best prepare for this moment? What are the most common questions, the mistakes to avoid, and the strengths to highlight?
These topics will be discussed on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM, during the sixth Entrepreneurs’ Café event. The meeting, titled “When the startup meets the investor: questions, expectations, and strategies,” will take place in person at the FrancoAngeli Bicocca Academy (Viale dell’Innovazione 11, Milan) and will also be accessible online.
The dialogue will be enriched by three complementary points of view: that of the investor, that of a professional who helps companies on their growth journeys, and that of someone who has personally experienced presenting to a financier.
Speakers:
- Lavinia Pastore, Co-Founder, Chairwoman of the Board of Directors, and Head of Research at Open Impact
- Gabriele Ronchini, CEO of Zest Group Investments
- Misal Giuseppe Memeo, Partner at OBLOO Venture Capital
The event will conclude with a networking coffee, an informal opportunity to delve deeper into the topics and build new professional relationships.
Participation is free upon registration. The event is for startups, spin-offs, researchers, students interested in innovation, technology transfer professionals, and, more generally, anyone who wants to prepare in a conscious and strategic way for a meeting with an investor.
