Friday, October 17, at 4:30 PM, the seminar series dedicated to social inclusion pathways promoted by legal clinics as part of the MUSA project concludes at Bocconi. The final event will address the theme of educational poverty and youth distress, with the participation of experts and practitioners working in the field.
Since May 19, 2025, Bocconi University has hosted the cycle of five meetings, “Access to Rights. Pathways of Social Inclusion starting from the Experience of Bocconi University’s Legal Clinics,” promoted as part of the project “Legal clinics: a new way to promote social inclusion through access to rights” developed for MUSA – Multilayered Urban Sustainability Action.
The initiative, which falls under the themes of Spoke 6 dedicated to well-being and social cohesion, has served as a space for reflection and discussion among academics, practitioners, and institutions committed to promoting inclusion through effective access to fundamental rights. The fifth and final meeting, titled “Educational Poverty, School Dropout, and Youth Distress: Intervention Perspectives,” will be held on Friday, October 17, at 4:30 PM in room 3-E4-SR03 at Bocconi University, Via Röntgen 1, Milan. The seminar will address the theme of school dropout and educational inequalities, with a focus on the experiences gained by Milanese universities in contexts of greater socioeconomic vulnerability. The goal is to offer a shared reflection on prevention and intervention strategies to combat youth distress and foster social inclusion.
The meeting will involve experts, researchers, and local organizations that collaborate with the Bocconi legal clinics and other institutions committed to the protection of rights and educational support. Through testimonies and concrete analyses, the seminar aims to highlight the role of universities as actors of social transformation, capable of promoting a constructive dialogue among education, research, and the community.
Participation is free but subject to mandatory registration. You can register for the event via the official Bocconi website, at the following link.
