A collaborative meeting involving MUSA, the Lombardy Region, Fondazione Triulza, and Third Sector entities to strengthen three years of cooperation and establish new shared working pathways.

On Thursday, December 11, a joint seminar was held at the Fondazione Triulza, organized by MUSA in collaboration with the Lombardy Region, the Foundation itself, and numerous Third Sector organizations. The initiative continues the dialogue started in recent months between the partners, with the aim of identifying and exploring in depth the thematic areas on which the research groups of MUSA universities have worked over the last three years together with local entities, in line with the priorities of regional policies.

The meeting opened with greetings from Massimo Minelli, President of Fondazione Triulza, followed by the introductory speech by Marco Morganti, Vice President of MUSA with responsibility for relations with the Third Sector. Both highlighted the strategic value of the day within their respective areas of activity.

Following this, four parallel working sessions took place, involving officials from the Lombardy Region from different General Directorates, researchers from MUSA universities, and representatives of the Third Sector. The sessions delved into topics of greatest common interest:

  • Social cohesion and combating fragility;

  • Urban regeneration and community resilience;

  • Environment, energy, and climate;

  • Training, inclusion, and re-skilling.

The feedback on the work was coordinated by Salvatore Torrisi, Scientific Coordinator of MUSA, together with the session facilitators – Gabriele Secol and Federica Voce of Deloitte, Maurizio Berti and Barbara Sanavio of Quantum Leap – who summarized the outcomes of the discussion.

The afternoon concluded with speeches by Chiara Pennasi, General Director of Fondazione Triulza, Marco Cozzoli, Director of Negotiated Planning and Cross-Sectoral Strategic Projects for the Lombardy Region, and Giovanna Iannantuoni, President of MUSA. All emphasized the importance of the event for their respective organizations and the originality of the working method developed by MUSA over these three years, which is capable of structurally connecting actors who often operate separately.

In closing, Marco Morganti announced the intention to propose a Memorandum of Understanding between MUSA, the Lombardy Region, and Third Sector organizations, in order to give continuity and further momentum to this collaboration in the coming months.
