LIUC joins the MUSA ecosystem, Gervasoni: "We are systematizing our ability to work together"
MUSA has strengthened its capabilities thanks to the entry of Carlo Cattaneo University – LIUC, bringing advanced expertise in the fields of economics and engineering. A step that consolidates MUSA‘s role as a national reference platform for urban sustainability and opens new perspectives for collaboration between universities, businesses, and institutions.
LIUC’s membership stems from a shared vision: addressing the challenges of urban transformation through a systemic approach, based on cooperation and the integration of different forms of knowledge. A contribution that fits perfectly within MUSA’s mission, oriented towards the development of research and innovation projects capable of generating a concrete impact on territories.
In commenting on the entry into MUSA, Rector Anna Gervasoni emphasized the value of collaboration as a key element for the development of the ecosystem: “LIUC has joined the project with conviction – she states – with the goal of working together and strengthening a network based on the sharing of skills and the ability to operate in an integrated way. The university intends to contribute to the future of MUSA by making available its 18 research centers in the economic and engineering fields, with particular attention to the themes of public-private partnership and the ability to create a system between different actors. LIUC is honored to be part of MUSA, where it will bring its contribution of research and connection with the world of business and finance” added Rector Gervasoni, highlighting the strategic value of this new collaboration.
Founded in 1991 on the initiative of the Union of Industrialists of the Province of Varese, LIUC brings to MUSA a solid tradition of economic-managerial and engineering education, as well as a strong connection with businesses and the territory.
The President of MUSA, Giovanna Iannantuoni, also spoke on the importance of LIUC’s entry: “LIUC’s membership among MUSA’s partners represents an important step for our ecosystem, because it strengthens the network of academic expertise and consolidates the link with the entrepreneurial fabric of the territory. MUSA was created to connect universities, businesses, and institutions in a common vision of innovation and sustainability: the collaboration with a university like LIUC, with its managerial vocation and its focus on the production world, allows us to increasingly transform research into concrete value for communities and for the Country”.
