Female-led startup awarded at Startup Days develops systems combining 3D and chemical-physical analysis for industrial processes
A technology that combines 3D reconstruction and chemical-physical analysis to improve quality control in industrial processes. This is the proposal of Thelia, a female-led startup among the winners of StartCup Lombardia 2025, held within the Startup Days.
The project is presented by co-founders Marta Tagliabue and Beatrice Ghidotti, who lead a team developing advanced systems for monitoring and industrial diagnostics.
Quality control in industrial processes
The solution integrates two technological areas: three-dimensional reconstruction of surfaces and analysis of their chemical-physical properties.
The goal is to provide more precise tools for quality control, an increasingly critical step in many industrial sectors, where identifying defects, anomalies, or variations in materials quickly and reliably is essential.
The device enables the collection of more complete data compared to traditional systems, improving checks along production lines.
Recognition at StartCup Lombardia 2025
Thelia is among the winners of StartCup Lombardia 2025, a competition for innovative startups held during the Startup Days.
The team also received the special female mention, recognizing projects led by women in technological and scientific fields.
Next steps
After the award, the startup aims to strengthen its position and expand visibility at a national level.
In a context where quality control is increasingly strategic, solutions like Thelia’s focus on precision, data integration, and digitalization of processes.
