A Year of Musa: Bridging Innovation and Sustainability
A year ago, Musa – Multilayered Urban Sustainability Action, the ambitious sustainable renewal project in the metropolitan area of Milan, was initiated. Funded by the Ministry of University and Research within the framework of the Next Generation EU plan, Musa embodies a 360-degree transformation model, addressing environmental, economic, and social dimensions.
On September 6th, in the main auditorium of Bicocca University in Milan, a comprehensive annual report will be presented, offering an overview of the progress achieved and future prospects. The presentation will assess the project’s impact on research, innovation, technological development, and the social fabric of the Lombard metropolis, featuring contributions from institutional representatives, researchers, and key figures from the business world.
Musa is a collaborative endeavor involving the University of Milano-Bicocca as the leading institution, Politecnico di Milano, Bocconi University, and the University of Milan, in synergy with other public and private entities. The objective is to “leave a lasting mark,” creating a virtuous and replicable model at the national level, to catalyze a renewal that enhances Italy’s competitiveness on the international stage, ushering in a new era of collaboration between the public and private sectors.
