With LIUC's adhesion, MUSA confirms its vocation to be a meeting place for research, businesses, institutions, and civil society, on a shared path of sustainable growth and development.
The Board of Shareholders of MUSA, yesterday, Thursday, October 2nd, in the presence of the ecosystem’s President, Professor Giovanna Iannantuoni, and Rector Professor Anna Gervasoni, formalized the accession of Carlo Cattaneo University – LIUC to the network of partners of MUSA Scarl, the company that operates as the implementing body for the Innovation Ecosystem financed by the Ministry of University and Research within the National Recovery and Resilience Plan, and which brings together universities, research bodies, institutions, businesses, and foundations.
LIUC’s entry represents a significant step that consolidates MUSA’s role as a national platform for sustainable innovation and opens new prospects for collaboration between the academic world and the productive system. The university, founded in 1991 on the initiative of the Union of Industrialists of the Province of Varese and strongly focused on economic-managerial and engineering training, brings academic expertise and a tradition of close connection with businesses and the local area.
Thanks to this alliance, LIUC’s entrepreneurial and applied vocation intertwines with MUSA’s mission, which promotes research and development projects on urban sustainability, data science, technology, and society. The synergy between the two entities will allow for the combination of scientific rigor and operational experimentation, offering students and researchers opportunities to participate in concrete innovation projects, while simultaneously granting MUSA access to academic know-how capable of strengthening the quality and impact of its initiatives.
The Rector of Carlo Cattaneo University – LIUC, Anna Gervasoni, comments: “LIUC is honored to be part of MUSA, where it will bring its contribution of research and connection with the world of business and finance.”
“LIUC’s entry among MUSA’s partners represents an important step for our ecosystem because it strengthens the network of academic expertise and consolidates the link with the local entrepreneurial fabric,” declared the President, Giovanna Iannantuoni. “MUSA was created to connect universities, businesses, and institutions in a common vision of innovation and sustainability: the collaboration with a university like LIUC, with its managerial vocation and its focus on the productive world, allows us to further transform research into concrete value for communities and for the country.”
