Unveiling Deloitte’s latest research on the future of academic talent — October 13, 2025

How can we foster the meeting point between the demand and supply of highly educated academic profiles? What are the expectations of researchers and the needs of companies?

These are the questions the event “Enhancing the Human Capital of Research: Synergies for the Future” will seek to answer. The event is promoted by MUSA – Multilayered Urban Sustainability Action with the support of Deloitte and in collaboration with Assolombarda.

The appointment is scheduled for Monday, October 13, 2025, from 2:30 pm to 6:00 pm, at Deloitte’s headquarters in Via Santa Sofia 28, Milan.

The program includes the presentation of an unpublished study carried out by Deloitte within the Musa project, which captures the dynamics of the market for highly qualified researchers. This will be followed by two round tables to compare academic and corporate perspectives.

The first, dedicated to the challenges and opportunities of advanced training, will feature company representatives from Camozzi, Edison, Pirelli, and Thales Alenia Space. The second, focused on possible synergies to enhance the human capital of research, will involve representatives from Displaid, Politecnico di Milano, Regione Lombardia, Bocconi University, and the University of Milan.

An Exploration Hub will accompany the coffee break, providing an informal networking opportunity between researchers and companies.
