Innovating in healthcare doesn’t just mean developing new technologies—it means knowing how to bring them to market, ensuring they are sustainable, accessible, and fully integrated into care pathways. That’s the vision behind “From Idea to Enterprise: Innovating in Healthcare,” a new advanced training program promoted by Fondazione Anthem, in collaboration with the University of Bergamo, Politecnico di Milano (GSOM Business School), Humanitas University, and the prestigious Johns Hopkins University (Carey Business School).
The course is aimed at researchers, healthcare professionals, and healthcare managers looking to expand their entrepreneurial and managerial skills. The goal is to provide concrete tools to turn ideas into enterprises capable of tackling real-world challenges in the healthcare system and creating long-lasting, positive impact.
Structured into five modules totaling 40 hours, the course will take place over three months (May–July 2025), entirely online. The methodology includes digital lectures, talks with experts from the Anthem network, and case studies based on real projects, providing a hands-on and immersive learning experience. The faculty brings together prominent figures from academia and industry, ensuring a multidisciplinary and up-to-date approach.
The program aims to help participants understand the fundamentals of entrepreneurship in healthcare, explore current challenges and identify innovation opportunities, develop an entrepreneurial mindset, and gain practical skills to launch new ventures in the health sector.
Applications close on April 30, 2025. The course fee is €3,000, with discounts up to €2,000 for Anthem members and 25% off from the second participant enrolled. It is also possible to use PNRR, PNC, or PRIN funds, where eligible under the relevant funding plans or through project overheads.
