From accounting to on-site coordination, a unified approach to improve operational performance

In a complex and highly fragmented sector such as construction, maintaining control over processes is one of the greatest challenges. This is the need that inspired Pillar, the startup founded by Gabriel Guinea Montalvo, and one of the winning projects of StartCup Lombardia 2025. The project was awarded during the ceremony held on November 12, further reinforcing StartCup Lombardia’s role as a key platform for high-potential innovation.

Pillar offers an artificial intelligence – based platform designed to support construction companies in the end-to-end management of their business. From the prevention of operational issues to accounting management and the administration of on-site activities, the solution addresses the entire operational cycle, providing a unified view and practical tools to improve efficiency and organization.

As Gabriel Guinea Montalvo explained, Pillar’s mission is to bring control back into the hands of construction companies, enabling them to better manage daily complexity through data-driven insights, automation, and decision-support tools. Artificial intelligence thus becomes a strategic enabler, simplifying critical processes and helping companies adopt a more structured and informed approach to management.

The recognition received at StartCup Lombardia 2025 represents a significant accelerator for the project’s growth. The award will support the expansion of the team and the acceleration of the go-to-market strategy, with the aim of reaching an increasing number of companies across Italy, particularly in Northern and Central regions.

Within this journey, MUSA Scarl has played a key role in creating the conditions necessary for the development and visibility of projects like Pillar. Through StartCup Lombardia, an initiative promoted together with universities and Lombard incubators, MUSA contributes to building an ecosystem where innovation, skills, and entrepreneurship can connect and grow in a structured way.

Pillar’s story shows how artificial intelligence can drive meaningful change even in traditional industries, generating tangible value for businesses and strengthening the competitiveness of the productive system. A clear example of applied innovation, where technology becomes a concrete tool for growth and long-term development.
