A project that transforms unsold inventory into a driver of production innovation and professional opportunities.
In the textile sector, unsold inventory represents one of the most significant environmental and economic challenges. Yet it can also become a starting point. It is from this awareness that ReShaping Hub was born, a project developed by Prism and winner of the MUSA Next Generation PMI call.
Prism, a benefit corporation founded by Giovanni Lucchesi, operates with a clear vision: integrating environmental sustainability and social inclusion within a structured and competitive production model. The goal is not only to reduce the impact of the textile supply chain, but also to generate concrete job opportunities for people in vulnerable conditions, particularly refugees and migrants, offering them a stable and qualified professional pathway.
ReShaping Hub represents the operational core of this strategy. The project is designed as a platform that connects brands, production, and repair services within a single circular supply chain. Through partnerships with fashion companies, Prism intercepts surplus stock and unsold garments, directing them toward redesign, refurbishment, and upcycling processes. The result is a new product that re-enters the market with economic, environmental, and social value.
Alongside its B2B dimension, ReShaping Hub also integrates a service aimed at citizens. Through a dedicated app, users can book repair services with home pick-up and delivery. This solution makes the choice to extend the life of garments simple and accessible, encouraging responsible behaviors and helping to spread a culture of reuse.
The distinctive element of the project lies in its ability to combine impact with economic sustainability. Production, repair, and transformation activities generate qualified employment for people from vulnerable backgrounds, integrating them into an organized, market-oriented supply chain. In this way, inclusion is not a parallel activity, but an integral part of the industrial model.
MUSA’s support fits into this path of growth and consolidation, enhancing an initiative that interprets the sustainable transition from a systemic perspective. ReShaping Hub demonstrates that circularity can become productive infrastructure and a driver of territorial competitiveness, contributing to the development of a more resilient entrepreneurial ecosystem.
In a context where the fashion industry is called upon to rethink processes, materials, and consumption models, Prism proposes a concrete and replicable approach. Regenerating garments, reducing waste, creating jobs: three actions that, integrated into a single strategy, transform a structural challenge into an opportunity for innovation and lasting impact.
