Start-ups and innovative business projects meet on 24 October to promote the ecological transition and create new opportunities for collaboration
On 24 October 2024 Emilia-Romagna is preparing to host one of the most eagerly awaited events on the innovation scene: the Start Cup Ecosister Day. This initiative, organised in partnership by ECOSISTER, the PNRR-funded project for regional ecological transition, and Start Cup Emilia-Romagna, represents a unique opportunity for start-ups, spin-offs and research-related entrepreneurial projects.
The event will see the participation of numerous protagonists from the academic and industrial world, including entrepreneurs, investors and innovators, offering a valuable opportunity for networking and the creation of new collaborations. The main focus will be on sustainability-related innovation, with entrepreneurial projects seeking to meet the challenges of the green and digital transition, in line with the goals of the Jobs and Climate Pact.
EcosistER, the territorial innovation ecosystem, is at the heart of this initiative. Funded by the PNRR, this project aims to strengthen Emilia-Romagna’s leadership in applied research, ensuring sustainable and resilient industrial development. The EcosistER partnership involves all regional universities and research institutes, bringing together the competences of the High Technology Network, the services of the incubators and the network of Technopoles. This ecosystem represents a strategic platform to guide the region towards growth that is not only economic, but also attentive to people and the environment.
Start Cup Emilia-Romagna, for its part, continues to support the birth of new companies with high innovative content, offering support and visibility to the most promising entrepreneurial projects. The meeting between the business plan competition and the Ecosister initiative promises to give rise to new solutions capable of meeting the challenges of the future with creativity and concreteness.
