Two events dedicated to young companies to foster growth and dialogue between emerging start-ups, investors and professionals, with a focus on sustainability and digital transformation.
Lombardy becomes the centre of innovation with the Startup Days, two events designed to support start-ups engaged in innovative projects that look towards a more environmentally, economically and socially sustainable future. Promoted by the Lombardy Region in collaboration with MUSA – Multilayered Urban Sustainability Action, these events focus on emerging start-ups and their revolutionary ideas.
To be held at Palazzo Lombardia on 23 and 29 October 2024, they will provide an opportunity to create new connections between start-ups, investors and industry professionals. The events will offer young companies the opportunity to present their projects and meet with potential investors in an environment that promotes exchange and collaboration. The aim is to strengthen the local entrepreneurial fabric, giving space to ideas that can generate concrete economic and social value.
On 23 October, the Belvedere Berlusconi will host the final of StartCup Lombardia 2024, a competition dedicated to start-ups born within Lombardy’s universities and university incubators. During this day, the finalist companies will have the opportunity to present their projects to a jury of experts and investors, in the hope of obtaining the support they need to grow and establish themselves on the market.
The second Startup Days event, on 29 October, will take place in the Auditorium Testori and Sala Biagi of Palazzo Lombardia. With the FutureMatch event, the opportunity will be given to create direct contacts between young companies and investors through a format that encourages dialogue and networking. FutureMatch will also see two moments of particular interest: the Demo Day of the SkyDeck Europe programme, with start-ups operating within the Silicon Valley ecosystem, and a competition dedicated to green chemistry, a strategic sector for the ecological transition.
The Startup Days represent a concrete opportunity to support innovation and the growth of new companies, and testify to the commitment of MUSA and the Lombardy Region in promoting a more inclusive and sustainable technological future.
